Restaurant

Gasthof Taube's two parlour bars take you back in time, offering an insight into two generations - not only of the innkeepers themselves, but also of the craftsmen. In their time, each of the two parlours was designed and built by traditional local carpenters, and incorporated lovingly and tastefully into the existing building. Cosy and welcoming, both rooms make the perfect place to drop in for a drink or a bite to eat.

Summer in the Bregenzerwald

The countryside of the Bregenzerwald is a treat for the eyes and a balm for the soul. Its harmonious blend of gentle hills, spreading plains, romantic river valleys and imposing mountain peaks makes it perfect for outdoor sports fans and nature lovers alike. For a rural community, the Bregenzerwald also offers an exceptionally varied programme of cultural events.

Guest reviews

Here in the TAUBE in Bizau are two sisters who work with their hearts, their hands and their heads simultaneously: heartfelt hospitality, handiwork to delight both the eyes and the palette, and a hotel which has been designed and thought through perfectly. It is small, special, without fussiness or superfluity, but brimming with good taste and real warmth. If you are seeking the bland uniformity of star-studded luxury hotels, this is not for you. For those looking for a wonderful welcoming ambience, this is the ultimate holiday paradise."
